Uses
Rose petals are used in cooking, as an herbal supplement, and in other ways: 
Cooking: Rose petals are used to make rose water, rose syrup, rose oil, and rose sugar, which are used in candies, jams, beverages, ice creams, baked goods, sauces, and more. 
Herbal supplement: Rose hips, the fruit of the rose plant, are rich in vitamin C and are sometimes used as an herbal supplement, especially brewed as a tea. 
Other uses: Rose petals can be used in aroma blends, massage oils, facial mist and toner, and as a detox and bowel cleanser. 

Rose petals are best used in the kitchen in bud form or when newly opened. They can be stored loosely packed in a plastic bag in the refrigerator.
